50’s themed mural for a custom garage.
This was one of our more interesting requests for a residence. The client had converted his 4 car garage into a man cave and wanted a trompe lous style, 1950’s street scene painted in his garage. But he didn’t want the mural on a wall.. he wanted it to span across the inside of all 4 garage doors so he could enjoy the scene from his armchair while the doors were down. The solution, a continuous scene painted on 4 canvases and carefully fitted to the doors so the doors could open and close without damaging the murals or the doors. It was quite the challenge but we met it with flying colors. Hear is the resulting mural.
